I just finished teaching a step interval class at 10:30, and my experience at the end of the class got me thinking. What was my experience? All of the ladies came up and thanked me for the class. I know these ladies have places to go right after class, however, they all made it a point to come up and give me a genuine “thank you”! It made me think about all of the times I say thank you during my day-my kids for following directions (some days more than others!), the person who gave me my coffee at Timmies, the ladies that came to class, and I wondered what my “thank you” sounded like. Was it just a “going through the motions” kind of response because I know I should, or was it a true, genuine thank you? I’m not sure…….. So, my goal for this week (and moving forward) is to thank those people I cross paths with during the day for doing those “everyday” things that we all take for granted.
After all, couldn’t we all do with being a little more appreciated? Thanks for reading-and I mean that!!!!!
