Good Monday morning everyone!!  Here is this week’s tip.  Enjoy!

Trainer’s Tip of the Week

October 18th -24th

Trick or Treat?!?!?!

Yes it is just around the corner.  The season of having candy around the house 24-7!  So, how on earth do we keep in things in check with so much temptation?  Well, here are a few suggestions:

            1) Choose things are not edible as treats-try Halloween themed pencils, erasers, glow in the dark rings etc. that you can get at the Dollarstore.  Kids love that stuff and at the same time, you are also making some better choices for those little trick or treaters at your door! 

            2) Buy things that you don’t like!  If you love chocolate but are lukewarm about candy, buy candy for the ghosts and goblins so you aren’t interested in eating it! 

            3) If there is extra towards the end of the night-give it away!! Load up those last few visitors or take it in to your office the next day to share.

The good news is that Halloween treats are usually portion controlled since they are smaller in size.  So indulge in one or two of your favourites! Whatever you choose, be sure to keep up with your activity!
