Fitness Multi-tasking


It’s amazing how often fitness activities have ancillary benefits. Here are some quick examples.

I’m not really a bird-watcher, but I do enjoy seeing these small flashes of beauty. While out for a run on the Waterfront trail this morning, I saw a house finch, a spring warbler and a Baltimore oriole.  I also saw a comical robin trailing a long string of nest-building material.

Hiking some of the many trails this area is blessed with is a favorite fitness activity, which also allows me to indulge another favorite pastime: photography. Here are some recent shots of spring buds and blooms:

We’re all so busy with our various activities, isn’t it great to know we sometimes can accomplish more than one thing at a time?
