Introduction to Zumba Class

What is Zumba? Everybody keeps talking about it, but, what is it? The official definition is that it’s a dance fitness program based on international rhythms. Put simply, if you enjoy dancing, you’ll love Zumba!
On Saturday, July 2, 2011, there is an Intro to Zumba class at the YWCA MacNab location for those people who might feel uncomfortable going into a regular class with everyone who might be more knowledgeable about the steps.
Class starts at 8am and runs for 30 minutes.
During this time, you will learn the basic steps used throughout most Zumba songs: Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton.
At 8:30am the regular class begins and you are welcome to join us for the following hour.
What is surprising about Zumba is that it’s FUN! You don’t have to be a professional dancer, or even physically fit. Everyone can Zumba!
