March Break – What To Do?

March Break has begun and the kids are out of school for the week.  The weather is cooperating (so far).  If you aren’t leaving the city for the week, what activities are available right here to help keep everyone moving?

Here are a few suggestions:

Bowling – it’s a fun indoor activity that anyone can do

Hiking – check out some of the local hiking trails, maybe visit one of Hamilton’s local waterfalls

Picnic – take the family to a park or the beach for a walk and a picnic

Swimming – there are many indoor pools that are offering March Break swimming activities

There are also many March Break camps for the kids throughout the city (including here at the YW.).  If you haven’t enrolled for one, there may still be room.

If you’ve taken the week off as well, why not check out your local fitness centre and try something new?  Here at the YWCA in Hamilton, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, or Spin, are available.  If you are a morning person and you don’t want to get out of your morning routine, why not come try our Morning Motivation class at the MacNab St. branch?

Any way you do it, just keep moving!
