Tip #12- Stand up!
“Sitting is the new smoking!!” Now identified as almost as dangerous to our health as smoking, the amount of time we now spend sitting, is, literally, killing us! Get up and move. This doesn’t mean you have to get to the gym
everyday (but we’d love to see you if you could of course!) but, for example,
stand up while you talk on the phone, use the washroom furthest away from your
desk, park waaaaaay far away from the mall (we likely don’t have a choice about
this right now anyway!) and add extra steps. Just let yourself move more!!! We can end up burning more than 300 calories per day, just by moving around more. Awesome!!
