Are kids are too scheduled?

This post is one that is near and dear to my heart-and something I am always (trying!) to be mindful of! I want my kids to be active and try lots of different sports/activities, but sometimes when I stop and look at our schedule, I realize that we are on the go with activities (in addition to school and work!) for days and days in a row with no break. Kids need time to be kids (and parents to catch their breath!), in addition to the structured activities they choose-time to run and jump and climb and play! And don’t forget how quickly they grow… sure to treasure them today!!
